Q & A with DJ Lucky C:

Where are you from? Now?

I was born and raised in North Miami, FL. Lived in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area for a few years but Miami is my home.

How did you get into becoming a DJ?

At the time my older cousin. Sam Sneak started taking his career more seriously and I saw the power the DJ has over the crowd. I wanted that power.

What do you feel has been your greatest accomplishments thus far?

I've won awards and been honored by a few publications but the greatest accomplishment was getting the job at 99Jamz. That was a goal I set for myself and I reached it.

Who is an artist that you would love to work with?

I am huge fan of R&B and song writing so someone like Ne-Yo, H.E.R. The types of artists that create everything.

Why do you feel it is important for your work to be heard/seen?

I take my craft very seriously. I have been for the past 15+ years. Its important to me because I take a lot of time to make sure that people are entertained.

Who is one of your favorite artists? Past or present.

I love older music so artists like Babyface, Michael Jackson, New Edition and the newer artists with something to say like Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Nipsey Hussle, etc etc

What is the best way for you to be contacted for prospective work/opportunities?

Text. lol I usually have my phone near me and I'll respond to a text faster than anything.

What drives you to pursue your dreams?

My sons are the reasons why I haven't stopped yet and the idea of doing something legendary and groundbreaking. That keeps me motivated.
